Andy Hunt has won the Welsh hillclimb championship outright, by a whopping 11 seconds, down in Llangynidr.
This is Ystwyth CC’s first ever individual national time trial championship. We almost grabbed the team prize too, pipped into second place.
Andy beat one of Welsh Cyclings top riders, Ben Simmons into second place and many other notable roadmen. What a win!
The team tackle the Autumn epic next, followed by the Horseshoe pass hill climb the following week where another strong performance is now expected.
