The ride for Sunday the 8th of November is a “Tour of Carmarthenshire” (well a small corner of it anyway). The plan is to set off at 10am from Llangadog, please can everyone meet at the Telegraph Inn (SA19 9LS) which is on the right just after the railway crossing as you head for Llangadog Village. The route will take us south from Llangadog to the Black Mountains on a lovely back road over the mountains in the direction of Llandovery, then loop back to Llangadog. The route is about 50 miles with two good climbs and fantastic scenery along the way. I appreciate that Llangadog is a fair drive, but hopefully we will be able to arrange car sharing options during this Sunday ride and on this forum.

A change is as good as a holiday apparently, so this ride should be ideal to keep you going through the Winter. If you are able to come please leave a message on the forum, Facebook or send me an email on axof41@dsl.pipex.com so that we have an idea on numbers.

All Ystwyth CC members are invited to attend this years club dinner and prize presentation on Saturday November 14th at Plas Antaron Hotel, Southgate, Aberystwyth.
Tickets cost £17.50 for a set three course meal which includes,
Tomato & Basil Soup
Beef Dinner or Vegetarian Option
Choice of dessert on night
Coffee.
As well as recognising this years prize winners this years dinner will also host the launch of our new kit for 2010. A presentation of all the different kits since the club was founded in 1954 will be on display accompanied by an audio visual display of Ystwyth riders in action over the years.

With the chance to win a new club jersey in the raffle and the usual ‘Super Hard’ cycling quiz it promises to be a fun night to reflect on the achievements of 2009 and look forward to 2010.

Auction & Presentation evening at Aberystwyth Football Club on 23rd October at 7pm to mark the end of the 2009 Gary Pugh fundraising events in aid of LATCH and the Cristian Lewis Trust.

Starting at 7pm with an auction including a carcass of lamb, £50 voucher for Ty Mawr Restaurant, Sporting memorabillia donated by Cambrian Tyres and many other items.

There will also be a disco and live band and children are invited.

Entry is free and a small buffet will be provided.

We would like to invite all freinds who have followed us on Facebook and especially those who have helped out at the Cycle Tour and the Football tournament this year.

The cheques will be presented to both charities on the night.
