Jasmine and Andy win Audax UK's tandem championship

Ystwyth CC riders Jasmine Sharp and Andy Cox were honoured recently at the annual dinner of Audax UK, the long distance cyclists association. Jasmine and Andy were winners of Audax UK’s tandem championship, having completed a greater total of qualifying rides than any other tandem couple during the year. In total, the couple completed rides totalling 5600km (3500 miles) in events ranging from 200-600km. A good ride of 360 miles at the national 24 hour Time Trial was also counted towards the award.

In the club championship, Ystwyth were 12th placed out of a total of 200 clubs with Audax-riding members. This is a strong performance given the relatively low number of Ystwyth members riding Audax events for the club.
