Distance: Ironman 2.5 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run.
Ystwyth CC members Jeff Saycell and Euros Jones along with frequent Sunday rider Dave Smith recently completed the grueling Outlaw Triathlon, raced over the Ironman distance of 2.5mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26.2 run at the National Water Centre in Holme Pierrepoint.
Both Jeff and Euros have been placing highly on the regular time trails in spite of balancing intensive run and swim sessions.
All 3 have used the excellent training facilities provided by the University Sport Centre which include coached swim sessions by Lauren March, the newly opened 400m 2 lane running track and Ystywth CC Spin Bike sessions under the supervision of University Spin instructor Alastair Rhodes.
